At 36, Frank Shelton has three passions: People, Public Service and preaching. Frank accepted Christ at age seven and at 10, brought 22 kids to Vacation Bible School in one week. He was crowned "PROM KING" his senior year out of 1,200 students at a public high school and he never did drugs, waited until marriage for sex and didn't drink alcohol. It goes to show you that when you promote God - He promotes you!
Frank worked 17 years on Capitol Hill and was a bi-vocational minister in the process before stepping out in faith full-time on July 27, 2007, to "do the work of an evangelist." In one year since leaving, God enabled him to preach over 240 times in 22 states in one year. Presently, he has a radio program aired each Thursday on AMERICAN FAMILY RADIO on 88.1 FM & 89.7 FM in Richmond, VA called "FRANKLY SPEAKING."
Frank in the past worked as a speechwriter to a Member of Congress, aide to former Governor of Maryland, appointed floor staff of the United States Senate, fundraiser for the Republican National Committee for four years and worked as a volunteer in the Presidential Correspondence Office at The White House for both Clinton & George W Bush, respectively.
Frank's sole mission is souls. In 2006, he preached over 145 messages in 19 states. He was appointed VP of National Christian Youth Speakers Network in 2001. Frank was keynote Speaker at SIX FLAGS AMERICA for Christian Day. He is a weekly call in guest "LIVE" on largest Christian radio station in Alabama to over 1 Million listeners and he shares HUMOR, celebrity impressions and captivating stories that Exalt Christ, Encourage Christians and leads the lost to our Lord. Frank has been a guest speaker the past two years with Jamey Ragle in the Bahamas with PRAISEFEST MINISTRIES and at one service Frank spoke, over 900 decisions were made trusting Christ as Savior.
Frank is the founder of Celebrate Jesus! Crusades www.CelebrateJesusUSA.com and this year "Women of Faith" artist TAMMY TRENT, Grammy Award Winner MICHAEL ENGLISH, Dove Award Winner AYIESHA WOODS and former MISS USA were artists at the crusades held in Waldorf, MD at North Point High School Frank (seats 4,400) and Arlington Convention Center in Dallas,TX.
Frank was also a guest speaker at VA Baptist Youth Evangelism Conference in Richmond, VA to over 7,000! Frank was recently a guest on DAYSTAR TV with Marcus & Joni Lamb and he shared his testimony LIVE to over 200 million viewers. Frank has co-authored SEVEN books and his brand NEW book "FINAL APPROACH - Career vs Calling?" is being released nation-wide in Spring 2008 and Carol Kent from WOMEN OF FAITH and author of "Lay My Isaac Down" graciously wrote the foreword to Frank's NEW book! COMPASSION INTERNATIONAL has contacted Frank about being a featured artist/speaker with them.
Frank parnters with clergy to know God and make God known. He graduated from Gardner Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC (SBC) in 1996, and three years later was nominated 1999 Distinguished Alumni. In 1998, Frank was a graduate of the Billy Graham School of Evangelism in Monterey, CA and took a couple courses online via correspondence at New Orleans Theological Seminary but like Jesus never graduated:)
Frank's ancestor carried President Abraham Lincoln across the street in 1865, at Ford's Theater. Frank's family friend was asked to be a pallbearer at Elvis Presley's funeral but Frank's loves to remind audiences all across America that we don't just carry the "King of a Nation" (Lincoln), the "King of Rock N Roll" (Elvis) but we carry The "King of ALL Kings" (Jesus) by our life and lips! It is one thing to carry greatness and entirely and eternally different when GREATNESS carries you!

Frank is married to the former Ruth Salmeron and they share one daughter, Hannah Grace (age 7) and reside in Southern Maryland. Ruth is program manager of three Christian radio stations in Philadelphia, Richmond and Washington, DC and her daddy was a preacher of the Gospel for over 45 years! She is a HUGE asset to Frank's ministry.

I had the pleasure of being on the Praisefest Ministries "Cruise with a Cause" to Bahamas with my husband and remember walking through the Royal Caribbean cruise ship and seeing a large crowd gather to lean over a balcony and listen to a man speaking below in the center of the ship. We joined them and were amazed! The man was on the bottom floor captivating this impromptu, walk up audience with this BOOMING voice. People were gathered on four floors, leaning over balconies just to hear him speak. We didn't even know who he was at the time.
